Coaching

Walsden CC is committed to the future of cricketing development at the club by putting in place a coaching network to ensure that both the senior and junior cricketers have the proper guidance to assist their ongoing cricketing development. With this in mind the club continues to engage the services of a level 3 ECB coach and embarked on a programme of encouraging club members and players to go on ECB coaching courses.

All coaches and coaching assistants are CRB checked

During the current season the qualified coaches involved at the club will be as follows:

Practice

Practice nights are as follows:
Junior Practice Night -	Fridays 6.15 – 8.15 approximately
Senior Practice Nights -	Tuesdays and Thursdays 6.30 – 8.00 approximately

Match Days

Senior Teams

1^st Eleven Most Weekends both Saturdays and Sundays (50 overs per side)

2^nd Eleven Most Weekends both Saturdays and Sundays (50 overs per side)

3^rd Eleven Most Weekends, normally one match only on Sundays (45 overs per side)

Junior Teams

U15 Monday nights (20 overs per side)

U13 Sunday mornings (20 overs per side)

U11 Wednesday nights (pairs cricket)

U-9 Monday nights (pairs Cricket)

Practice Facilities

The Club has in 2013 installed a brand new 3 lane practice facility with the kind assistance of Calderdale Community Foundation, the CO-OP Bank and the ECB (see pictures below)
