Do not make derogatory comments or gestures about your team or opponents. Never try to intimidate the opposition by threats or excessive triumphalism.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Be polite to umpires and respect their decision. Do not show dissent! Do not throw tantrums and throw cricket bats. Such behaviours invites sanctions from club officials.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Members should keep to agreed timings for practice and matches and inform team manager or captains ASAP if they cannot play or going to be late.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; All players must wear the appropriate kit.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; All players are required to use a helmet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; Encourage your child to learn the law of the game and to play within the spirit of those laws.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Discourage unfair play and disputes with officials\/coaches.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Help your child to recognise good performance and not just results.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Set a good example by recognising fair play and by applauding the good performance by all.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Never punish or belittle a child for losing or making mistakes.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Publicly accept the judgement of officials without argument or comment.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Support your child\u2019s involvement and help them to enjoy cricket and to develop within it.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Use correct and proper language at all times. Abusive language and behaviour will not be tolerated.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Do not forget, children are involved in organised sport for their enjoyment.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>THE COMPETITION\/TEAM ORGANISER WILL<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; Act as first point of contact for reporting child welfare and protection concerns.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Help and safeguard young people by assisting in the promotion of the welfare of young people policy.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; To be a source of advice and information within the competition\/matches.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; To uphold confidentiality, as far as practical in all Child Protection matters.<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; To liaise with the club welfare officer when appropriate and the club welfare officer to liaise with the county welfare officer if necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NOTES FOR PARENTS CARERS COACHES AND MANAGERS &#8211; You are expected to abide by the general rules of the competitions and matches, our code of conduct for cricketers and by the following rules &#8211; All members must play cricket within the laws and in the spirit of the game. &#8211; All members must respect colleagues and officials.
